Introducing digital design
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Digital Design team, a group focused on turning ideas into engaging visuals, simplifying complex information, and making sure everything we produce looks cohesive and intentional.
The term design at Retro Rabbit has traditionally been synonymous with UX/UI. While the two seem to be similar fields, UX design and Digital design are two completely different disciplines. I’m hoping that this article provides a level of clarity around what we do and the value that we can add to you and your team.
So, what is digital design?
Digital design refers to the creation of visual content specifically for digital devices and platforms. In our context, it falls under the broader umbrella of graphic design. Graphic design is how a company communicates visually. It encompasses specialities like brand design, poster design, the design of marketing materials and so much more.
Good design makes information clear and easy to digest. It also makes assets like products, presentations, and campaigns feel professional and intentional, as opposed to them feeling thrown together. Ultimately, helping these assets stick out in a crowded market.
